A little taste of what's coming?

Hey there Coach...we're only three months away from the release of your new book. I'm sure we forumites have a general idea of what the book is about. But can you tell us about the specific topics you address in the book? Is there a program with progressions to follow like in MHPT? New exercises? Guidelines to creating our own workouts?

Just give us a little taste, coach.

Book will feature some back ground on metabolic cardio strength, sectioned off into complexes, timed sets (different timed intervals, tabatas etc.), density training, and even outdoors CHAOS and agility stuff. All will have progressions, workout cards to track and change. I think it will be a huge hit!

Awesome! So it'll be more about all-around athletic training than just cardio strength training specifically? I'm glad to see you're putting in the agility and CHAOS stuff. I'm guessing it'll include advice on how to integrate the cardio and lifting in a weekly program? Can't wait!

I was wondering if there will be 2 different programs or if it will integrate with MHPT. I know you may not want to give to much away, but I am buying the book no matter what.

yeah...it's definately a separate program but I talk about how one might incorporate these metabolic sessions etc. CHAOS is tough in a book format but if you buy the book you will get a link to some FREE CHAOS MP3 tracks along with tabatas, 30:30, 40:20 intervals etc. from www.workoutmuse.com HUUUUUGE Bonus!

BTW, the pre-sales and the book company sales for this book are unheard of for a book that's about 3 months away from being released! I have a copy of the front and back covers ... can't show you guys yet but it is awesome....the 'expert quote' on the back is gonna make these bad boys FLY off the shelves = )

It's YOU guys and your support of MHPT and enthusiasm for the new book that I owe my success to so THANKS!!!!

Can't wait Dos. I think I speak for many here in appreciating how active you are on these boards and how our interaction with you is ongoing. This is going to be one hell of a birthday present for me :)

Absolutely agree. How many places can you get such quick responses from a coach of this caliber to any questions you may have? Not many. And it goes without saying that the MHPT program is phenomenal. Thanks.

I have already pre-ordered my copy!

I bought MHPT 10 months ago and it has totally changed my training philosophy, before reading that book I had never heard of either Coach Dos or Alwyn Cosgrove and I was stuck in what now seems like the dark ages of training, doing a single body part a day.

Within 4 months of following the MHPT program I had made more gains in strength, size and fitness than I had in 2 years of previous training programs.

I have since bought several of the DVD's produced by Dos and Alwyn and they are equally of a high standard. They seem to be the only people producing this sort of high quality training material, and long may it continue.

Coach, do you plan to sell the new book through your site like you did with MHPT?

dunno yet.....i get very little discount with the publishers. In fact, it's probably cheaper for me to buy in bulk with free shipping etc. through amazon. It's the whole 'signed' thing that attracts people to buy from me and even then I usually do t-shirt, beanie, bonuses etc. to make is a 'package'
